La #creatividad y la #innovación son elementos que han venido interactuando con el entorno empresarial desde hace mucho tiempo.
A medida que los mercados se hacen más competitivos, ambos elementos han adquirido cada vez mayor protagonismo a la hora de desarrollar ventajas competitivas para las organizaciones. La creatividad es la capacidad que posee un individuo para idear algo nuevo y original, mientras que la innovación es el arte de convertir las ideas en productos, procesos y servicios nuevos y mejorados.
Ambas son herramientas diferentes y a su vez complementarias, por lo que resulta fundamental que las empresas promuevan una filosofía de gestión creativa e innovadora que les permita desarrollarse tanto vertical como horizontalmente, logrando una cadena de valor competitiva y diferenciadora. Partiendo de esta premisa, hemos de ser conscientes de que una de las claves para disponer de un modelo productivo innovador y competitivo reside en la educación.
En el caso de España, para conseguir un “cambio de modelo” debemos abordar este aspecto desde la base, que no es otra que la educación de los jóvenes que pasado un tiempo compondrán la base de la fuerza productiva española.
En este contexto, con motivo de la Semana Mundial de la Creatividad y la Innovación, APD y la Xunta de Galicia organizan la jornada Escuelas creativas, Empresas innovadoras, en la que expertos del ámbito educativo y empresarial debatirán y pondrán sobre la mesa temas como la promoción de la creatividad en el entorno laboral con el fin último de la innovación empresarial, la necesidad de una adaptación eficiente de los actuales estudiantes al mercado de trabajo o la importancia de promover la incorporación y práctica del pensamiento creativo en las aulas de educación de Galicia, atendiendo a las demandas del mundo empresarial y del nuevo contexto económico.

Creativity and innovation are elements that have been interacting with the business environment
for a long time.
As markets become more competitive, both elements have become increasingly important in developing competitive Organizations. Creativity is the ability of an individual to devise something new and original, while the Innovation is the art of turning ideas into new and improved products, processes and services.
Both are different and complementary tools, so it is Companies to promote a creative and innovative management philosophy that allows them to vertical and horizontal, achieving a chain of competitive and differentiating value. Starting from this premise, we must be aware that one of the keys to having a innovative and competitive productive model resides in education.
In the case of Spain, for to achieve a «model change» we must address this from the bottom up, which is none other than the Education of the young people who after a time will be the basis of the Spanish productive force.
In this context, on the occasion of the World Week of Creativity and Innovation, APD and the Xunta
of Galicia organize the conference Creative schools, innovative companies, in which experts from the
Education and business will discuss and bring to the table issues such as the promotion of Creativity in the work environment with the ultimate goal of business innovation, the need for a efficient adaptation of current students to the labor market or the importance of promoting the incorporation and practice of creative thinking in the classrooms of education of Galicia, attending to the demands of the business world and the new economic context.
